In the 18th c., the place
began as a handsome wood-panelled Lorraine-style
dwelling. Even back then it was designed to host and serve... as a coaching
inn!
In 1827, the establishment became a full-fledged hotel, and little by little
earned its reputation as a genuine landmark, a must destination, “THE”
restaurant of Verdun.
And so “Le Coq” remains today as ever... with its heart-of-town location,
rich soul and profound talent, perpetuated by the same family for
generations.
Dauntless indeed is the “Coq” where... everyone in their own way carries on
great traditions and adds a touch of the bold! |
